Arrest Made In Drive By Shooting

A Leoma man has been arrested on multiple charges in connection with a drive-by shooting that occurred outside a Holtsford Street business during the weekend.

Lawrenceburg Police Chief Judy Moore indicates that the incident initially began as an argument between patrons inside Tony’s Game Room, around 1:20 a.m. Sunday.

The disagreement continued when several patrons moved into the parking lot outside the business. A short time later, she reports, shots were fired toward the crowd.

Moore said that no injuries resulted from the shooting, but that one round did travel into the interior of the game room. A few of those involved in the fight did sustain very minor injuries such as scrapes and bruises.

While interviewing victims officers were able to obtain information about the alleged shooter, including a description of him and his vehicle. Shortly thereafter they were able to locate the suspect at a location on Whipporwill Drive in the Richardson Acres Subdivision.

Kyle Earl Marston, 27, of Purcell Lane, Leoma, was transported for questioning in connection with the shooting. During questioning he allegedly admitted he had fired shots toward the business.

As a result of the investigation Marston was arrested on five counts of reckless endangerment and transported to the Lawrence County Jail where he is currently being held without bond.
