Several Injured When Bleachers Flip

   There was a bit more excitement than normal Saturday morning at Bobby Brewer Memorial Park when a small set of bleachers overturned, injuring several onlookers.

   Emergency personnel were dispatched to the field just before 11:00 a.m. after the bleachers overturned during a softball game.

   Emergency Medical Technicians administer aid to those injured while other personnel assessed the extent of injury and type of medical assistance needed.

   . The aluminum bleachers, three rows high, apparently flipped after becoming top-heavy when too many individuals moved to the upper row.

   One adult female victim was transported by ambulance to Crockett Hospital for additional medical treatment. The remainder of the injured were treated at the scene.

   Officials indicate no serious injuries were reported.
