Police Officer Recognized For Service In Iraq

   City of Lawrenceburg officials made a special presentation Thursday to a Lawrenceburg Police Officer who recently returned from a year-long tour of duty in Iraq.

   Members of the Lawrenceburg Board of Mayor and Council presented the special Certificate of Appreciation to Officer Jerry Frazier during their regular bi-monthly business meeting. Council members thanked Frazier “for his service to the citizens of Lawrenceburg and the United States.”

   Frazier thanked the council for the acknowledgment, explaining, “It does me an honor to know that I can step out of this uniform and into my other uniform and know that my job is secure.”

   Acknowledging the retirement of Assistant Police Chief Neal Skinner Frazier added, “My only regret is that I missed out on Neal’s last year…I would have liked to be here for that.”
