Democratic Party To Have Covered Dish Dinner

On Thursday, July 9th at 6:30 at the City Administration Building in Lawrenceburg, the Lawrence County Democratic Party will have a covered dish supper. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door. All attendees are asked to bring a dish and/or a drink.

Chairman Chris Jackson invites all Democrats to attend the dinner and bring friends and family. "This dinner will be the first official party fundraiser going into what will be a big political season for us next year," Jackson said. "I encourage anyone who is interested to attend and show their support for our party, its candidates/elected officials and their vision to move our county forward into the future," he added.

All proceeds from the event will go into the party's general fund and help support the party and its candidates in the 2010 elections.
