Lawrence County Sheriff's department needs help locating female suspect that fled through cornfield.

According to the Lawrence County Sheriff's department on Monday deputies attempted to pull over a vehicle that was driving recklessly on Summertown road.

Deputies stated that the motorist fled driving their vehicle into a cornfield near Anderson Creek Road where the female driver identified as Jessica Lyn Fear fled on foot, the passenger Richard Daniel Starling surrendered where he was arrested on charges of resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jessica Fear is wanted on multitude charges from Lawrence County and probation violation warrants out of Maury County where she was arrested in August of last year for smuggling meth into the Maury County Jail where she laced honey buns with meth serving them to several female inmates who many were unaware.

After deputies searched the vehicle they stated what they found in paraphernalia was consistent with a meth user, and believed Fear may be under the influence of drugs.

Deputies sealed off the field then called in the Tennessee Highway Patrol Helicopter to assist them in locating Fear.
