Infant’s Death Spurs Investigation

   Law enforcement officials have launched an investigation into the cause of death of an infant who perished last week.

   Two-week-old Santiago Gene Reyna died on Friday. He is the second infant in the same family to suffer a similar fate. Authorities indicate that Felipe Dillon Reyna, age two months, died on August 30, 2006.

   Santiago Gene Reyna’s body was dispatched to Nashville for autopsy. Authorities indicate that results should be available within the next few weeks.

   Funeral services for Reyna were conducted Saturday afternoon, June 28.
