During the severe thunderstorm warning in Lawrence County fire department crews were battling several commercial fires.

Around 8:30 p.m. on Friday night the Lawrenceburg fire department shared on their page they were at AOC Metal Works on Hannon Drive in town with a reported commercial fire alarm with sprinkler activation, and smoke visible.

There was no further reports on the extent of the fire or damage.

The fire department was then called to a structure fire just before 9:00 p.m. at the Elk Valley Sawmill in Ethridge.

Around the same time Authorities reported a transformer fire on Admiral Circle in Lawrenceburg.
