Burglars Continue To Target Firearms
Firearms were stolen from a home on Hall Road during a burglary that occurred overnight Sunday.
The residents reported to Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies that they had left their home on Sunday. When they returned shortly before 2:00 p.m. Monday they found that a window on the rear of the home was open.
The couple called deputies to the scene. Once it was confirmed no one was inside, the owners looked about, determining that several items had been stolen.
Among the missing items was a revolver, shotgun, $300 worth of change, laptop computer and various items of jewelry.
Loss was estimated to total $1,650.
