Resident Discovers Overnight Damage
A Lawrenceburg resident filed a complaint with law enforcement officers Sunday after discovering damages to his property that had occurred overnight.
The victim, age 78, reported to officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department that his neighbor had alerted him to the damages.
Reports show that the resident’s mailbox had sustained considerable damage. Officers said it appeared that it had been run over by a vehicle. They noted finding tire marks in the yard and a plastic piece off of an automobile lying on the ground.
Damages were said to total around $75. The matter remains under investigation at the current time.
