Local Shelter reported resident missing on Monday.

 

The Lawrenceburg police department received a call in reference to a missing person on Monday.

The responding officer arrived at The Shelter Inc. where he spoke with one of the employees that stated a resident had not been heard from since 8:00 p.m. on Sunday.

The employee told the officer they were concerned since her ex boyfriend who was abusive had just been released from a facility, and was reported to be in town.

Also the employee stated that this was out of character for the residence as she was always there every night, and they were also not able to reach her by phone.

The case is currently under investigation by officers.
