Friday Crime Report

Vandalism

A resident of Third Street reported to police officers Tuesday that someone had broken a side window on his 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt. He estimated damages to be $100. He told officers that the vandalism had occurred sometime the previous night.

   Theft

A Lawrenceburg woman reported Tuesday that after shopping at Walmart on North Locust Avenue, she left her wallet in her shopping cart. She told police officers that she returned, but that the wallet could not be found. Loss is approximately $53.50.

Vandalism

Officers were dispatched to a Nixon Avenue home Tuesday afternoon where a resident reported damage to his mailbox. He told officers that a man visiting his neighbor had backed over the mailbox. He estimated his loss to total $80.

Burglary

On Tuesday a resident of Roberts Avenue in Lawrenceburg reported to police officers that someone had broken into her home during a forty minute window of time. She told officers that while she was away someone had cut a screen on the bathroom window then raised the window to gain entry. Missing were a 42” LG television, Xbox 360 and 15 games, Motorola cell phone, and a jar of coins. The items had an estimated combined value of $2,381.
