A tragic murder suicide occurred early Saturday morning in Tennessee.

 

Morristown Tennessee Police stated that early Saturday morning Brandon Michael McMurtury, 30, shot two people in an apartment, one of whom died, and then fatally shot himself.

Officers said that detectives believe that McMurtury forced his way into the apartment of a 29 year old resident who knew McMurtury, and had previous problems with him.

Once McMurtury was inside the apartment he shot the 29 year old resident then he turned the gun on 30 year old Angel Robert Garcia, and then he fatally shot himself.

The 29 year old was transported to a nearby hospital where her injuries were not life threatening, but sadly Garcia died from their injuries from the gun shot wound.
