Lawrence County man barricaded himself inside his home causing nearby school to be placed on a lock out.

 

Lawrenceburg Public School was placed on a lock out Thursday evening after local law enforcement was pursuing an armed suspect in the area near the school.

During a lock out all staff and students remain inside the building until the threat is cleared.

Police officers were at a home near hilltop market where a suspect had barricaded himself inside his home.

Around 4:30 p.m. officers were able to apprehend the suspect and take him into custody.
