Vandals Push Parked Car Into Roadway

Vandals attempting to break into a car left at a local business for repair last week, reportedly used another vehicle to push it into the middle of a nearby roadway.

Reports filed through the Lawrenceburg Police Department show that the vandals had attempted to break into a 2001 Mercedes C32 that had been left at Jobbers Supply, 918 North Military Avenue.

Officers noted that there were pry marks around the sunroof of the car. They indicated the vandals had apparently used a 1992 Chevrolet SV2 van to push the Mercedes into the northbound lane of Military Avenue. The front plate holder on the car was broken as a result.

The incident remains under investigation at the present time through the department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
