Lawrence County Sheriff's department post about taking more narcotics off the streets.

The Lawrence County Sheriff's department posted on their Facebook page today that this week has been busy for their deputies and drug task force team members.

With the help of their K-9 friend the Sheriffs department has taken more narcotics off the streets in Lawrence County.

There was 2 separate operations where they stopped the dealing of heroine and a host of narcotics for resale.

The Sheriffs department stated they will be posting more information soon in regards to these 2 operations.

Sheriff Myers ending the post by saying, "It's a long process, but I will continue everything humanly possible, with a little K-9 help too, to see our community clean of this mess."
