Telephone Threats Received By West Lawrence Woman
A woman who resides on Waynesboro Highway sought assistance Wednesday after having received numerous threats over the telephone.
The victim, age 22, reported to Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies that she had received a total of 24 calls that day from a woman making threats.
The caller told the victim that she was tracking her by GPS and that she was going to find her and cut her throat.
The victim said she told the woman repeatedly that she had the wrong number. She said that she did not know any of the persons to whom the woman was referring, but that she would not stop placing the calls.
The matter currently remains under investigation.
