Officials Investigate Threats Via Facebook
A Lawrenceburg woman requested an investigation be initiated Wednesday, saying that she had received threats via Facebook.
The victim, age 26, told Lawrenceburg Police Officers that another woman, with whom she is not acquainted, has been posting threats to find and harm her.
According to reports the matter resulted from internet conversations the victim had recently with a man.
The matter has been turned over for continued investigation through the department’s Criminal Investigation Division. Anyone who has information regarding the matter is encouraged to contact the department at 762-2276.
