Thursday Crime Report

Vandalism

Police officers were called to a Smith Avenue home last week where the resident reported someone had keyed her 2001 Ford Ranger. Officers noted that there were small scratches to the vehicle and that an edge of a running board appeared to have been sawed off. Damages were estimated at $40.

 Burglary

On Monday officers were dispatched to O’Reilly’s Auto Parts on North Locust Avenue in Lawrenceburg where a burglary had taken place. Employees reported they had closed up around 8:30 the previous evening. They said that $6,647.44 in cash was stolen and that around $4,000 in damages had been done to the building, bathroom, and floor safe.
