School To Dismiss Early Thursday
Students of the Lawrence County School System will get a small break Thursday afternoon as schools will dismiss early.
The 1:30 p.m. dismissal is included in the school calendar in order to allow teachers time to take part in required annual training sessions.
Students should enjoy the brief respite, however, since it is the last break included in the calendar until the school year draws to an end at the end of next month.
