One Airlifted In Early Thursday Morning Crash

One individual was reportedly airlifted from the scene of an automobile crash on U.S. Highway 43 South Thursday morning.

   The two vehicle crash occurred around 6:00 a.m., south of the Lambs Ferry Road intersection.
   Reports indicate the driver of a southbound Ford truck veered into the northbound lane, impacting a Nissan truck.

   Medical aid was rendered to the driver of the Nissan truck at the scene. The more seriously injured second driver was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

   Investigation into the crash is currently on-going.
