Maury County Fire Department responded to a reported head on collision on Dry Creek Rd near the Lawrence County Line.

Members arrived from Stations 22 (South Maury) and 34 (Enterprise) to find an occupant heavily entrapped. Engine 25 arrived and members put their hydraulic tools to work to remove the door, roof, and push the dash.

One patient was transported by Maury Regional Emergency Medical Services (EMS)to VUMC in critical condition, supplemented by Vanderbilt LifeFlight crew who were unable to fly due to weather.

This was the 10th vehicle extrication of the year for MCFD.
