Tennessee woman allegedly steals Walmart scooter then drives it down the Highway to get coffee.

On Friday around 5:00 a.m. Officers pull over a woman that was driving a Walmart mobility scooter in the slow lane of Highway 127 in Crossville, Tennessee.

The woman driving the scooter was, Sally Selby, 45, who told officers that she was on her way to Waffle House to buy a cup of coffee, and that the scooter belonged to her she built it.

Walmart video surveillance showed Selby using the scooter inside the store before driving it into the parking lot, and also Walmart employees did confirm the scooter in fact did belong to Walmart.

The Crossville police arrested Selby and charged her with theft. As of Tuesday it is still unclear if Selby may face additional charges.
