Cothren Announces Bid For Seat On Lawrenceburg Council

Eddy Cothren has announced that he is seeking election to Seat 3 on the Lawrenceburg Board of Mayor and Council in the May 5 election.

Cothren explains, “Our government belongs to us, the people. We, as taxpayers, are the driving force behind it and the elected officials should represent our voices when voting on issues that concern us.

“We need honest, upright men and women whose hearts are in service to others, not self. I will not make promises about how I can change things, but I will promise to voice the opinion of the people, who have so long gone without a voice, and work toward using that voice to improve the government of Lawrenceburg.

“I am going door to door to talk to as many as possible. I want to hear your views and concerns.”

Cothren has been married to wife Judy for the past thirty-two years. They have three sons; Wesley and Jacob, who reside in Lawrenceburg, and Cade, who is a senior at U.T. Knoxville.

Cothren concludes, “Other than a short stint in Florida of two years, we have lived in Lawrenceburg all of our lives. My family is another reason that I want to help build a better Lawrenceburg.

“I will represent you with honor and integrity. That is my pledge to you, I am asking for your vote and support on May 5.”
