Nurse Of The Year Deadline Extended

Country Cottage Assisted Living has extended our deadline to collect nominations for our Nurse of the Year Event!  The new deadline is now Wednesday, April 28th!

Know a nurse who has meant something to you?  Someone who eases the pain of a shot and makes you laugh at each appointment?  Country Cottage in Lawrenceburg is sponsoring their annual Nurse of the Year Award to recognize that extraordinary caring nurse who always helps out.

“We want to honor the contributions of nurses in our community,” said Lisa Chapman, LPN, Managing Director of Country Cottage.  “We were thrilled with the support we received for this in the past, and we want everyone to get involved again and show our nurses how much we appreciate them.”

Nomination forms can be found at area doctors’ offices, in the newspaper, and at the Cottage on 469 Weakley Creek Road, Lawrenceburg.  You can also submit an electronic nomination form at www.cottageassistedliving.com/NOY.

A selection committee of community leaders will review the nominations and select a winner to be announced at a ceremony on Thursday, May 13th.  Preliminary ceremony plans include recognition of all nurses who are nominated and a presentation of $250 to the Nurse of the Year.

“Everyone in the Lawrence County area is encouraged to nominate their favorite nurse,” said Chapman.
