Pursuit in Tennessee ends with spike strips.

Thursday evening in Antioch, Tennessee dozens of motorists witnessed the incident that unfolded on interstate 24.

The Metro Police department was in pursuit of another police cruiser along interstate 24, and continued the chase along Hickory Hollow Parkway.

The pursuit finally ended on Mount View Road after spike stripes were placed causing the police cruiser's tires to flatten.

Several witnesses stated seeing smoke trailing from the vehicle as it was being driven on its rims.

At this time the Metro police department have not commented on who was driving the police car, or how the incident started.
