Report Of Tornado But No Touchdown
Ethridge resident David French who lives on Dooley Road reported seeing a funnel cloud moving over his home Wednesday evening.
Several large trees were blown over in his yard and the roof of his house had shingles damaged due to the winds.
An outbuilding was also blown into pieces and strewn over 300 yards into the yard of David French.
"I was standing at the door and seen it swirling and went into the hallway." said French. "I seen it, I saw the funnel cloud. It did not come all the way to the ground, it just hung there and came on through."
The thunderstorms which moved through Wednesday evening made it's biggest impact to the north.
No injuries were reported after the storm passed through Lawrence County.
