Men Arrested For Harassing Lawrenceburg Residents

Four Lawrenceburg men were arrested on disorderly conduct charges during the weekend after they allegedly went to the home of two women and began harassing them.

Lawrenceburg Police Officers answered the 9:53 p.m. call to the Clearview Avenue home. When they arrived, they report four young men were in the front yard, yelling and cursing at the two victims inside. All four were subsequently detained.

The victims, ages 18 and 33, reported that the men had come to their home and apparently wished to initiate a fight. They indicated that the men were yelling and cursing and them, and that they had no idea why.

The woman informed officers they had no idea who the men were. Since they “had no right to be there,” all four were placed under arrest on charges of disorderly conduct and transported to the Lawrence County Jail.

The four men, Josh Allen Mathis of 318B College Street, Keith Avery Robertson, 20, of 1017 First Avenue, Steven Alan Chianelli, 21, of 1104 North Locust Avenue, and Anthony Wade Serrett, 30, of 425 Cockrell Street, are scheduled to answer the charges through Lawrence County General Sessions Court.
