Ethridge Man Reports Horse Vandalized

Authorities are looking into allegations indicating that a horse belonging to an Ethridge resident has been the continued target of vandals.

The resident of Pleasant Valley Road summoned Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies to the scene on Sunday, after he discovered that his horse had, once again, been vandalized.

The resident indicated that someone had entered his pasture and cut away a section of the horse’s tail, as well as the mane. He told deputies that similar incidents have been reported at his residence in past months.

Damages as a result of the vandalism were estimated to be $1,000.00.

Anyone who has information that might assist detectives in the continued investigation is encouraged to contact the sheriff’s department at 762-3626.
