Deputies serving warrant make drug arrests

Lawrence County Sheriff John Myers released information Monday regarding drug charges that were brought against two Lawrence County residents during the weekend.

It is as follows:“Patrol deputies went to 1014 Pine Circle to serve an arrest warrant on Lucus Kelley.

While doing so, they observed several items of drug paraphernalia inside the residence. Deputies arrested Lucus Kelley and Monique Harrison for possession of drug paraphernalia and contacted narcotics investigators.

Narcotics investigators responded to the location and obtained a search warrant for the residence.

The search warrant yielded numerous items of paraphernalia including syringes, scales, glass pipes, baggies, and diverted empty prescription bottle
