Developing Successful Small Farm Enterprises Workshop
A Developing Successful Small Farm Enterprises Workshop is planned for February 25th & 26th. The two-day workshop will be held at the Middle Tennessee Research and Education Center in Spring Hill and feature topics of interest to owners or potential owners of small acreages.
Two previous workshops of this type have been well received by participants. Topics such as soil fertility, financial planning, direct marketing, value-added agriculture, beekeeping, small flock poultry production, and fruit and vegetable production will be presented by Extension agents and specialists from University of Tennessee Extension and Tennessee State University Cooperative Extension.
The registration fee for the workshop will be $50.00 per person which includes lunch both days and a notebook and CD containing workshop presentations and resource materials. Registration materials will be available later in the fall.
