Students Return To School On Tuesday January 8
The 2012-2013 School Year Christmas vacation will draw to a close on Tuesday, as students return to the classrooms to begin their second semester.
Tuesday will be a regular school day, with students arriving by 8:00 a.m., and schools dismissing at 3:00 p.m.
The next scheduled holiday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, to be observed on Monday, January 21. Students will not attend classes on Presidents’ Day, February 18. Spring break is scheduled for March 25 through 29.
The last day of mandatory student attendance this school year will be May 23. The school calendar shows that, on that day, students will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m.
