Suspects Sought In New Year’s Eve Robbery

Local law enforcement officials are seeking to identify three suspects in connection of the knife-point robbery of a mentally impaired Lawrenceburg woman New Year’s Eve.

Officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department were dispatched to investigate the robbery at 110 Gallaher Boulevard, around 9:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers report that the resident is a twenty-one-year-old “impaired” woman who was unable to give very many details regarding the robbery. She was able to give officers the name of one of her assailants. She indicated she was acquainted with the man, and that he had come over to borrow money from her.

The woman told officers that she sat down in the man’s car, and that he and the two other suspects “all pulled knives on her,” then took $40 from her before fleeing.

The victim was unable to provide officers with any information regarding the vehicle description.

Anyone who may have information regarding the crime is encouraged to contact the police department at 762-2276.
