Max L. Ezell

Max L. "Sonny" Ezell, age 81 of Loretto, Tennessee passed away peacefully Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, TN., after a short illness. Up until the end, his self-drive, humor and positive attitude remained - stories shared, funnies made and love abounding.

Joy in Maury County, the son of the late William and Evelyn Curtis. Bob and his late wife, Martha Rebecca Curtis, recently celebrated their 61st st wedding anniversary. He served proudly in the Korean War, but understood the toll it look on his fellow countrymen and rarely spoke of his time there.

After the war, he spent over 30 years as a welder and pipefitter. To say he was an avid outboorsman is a bit of an understatement; between hunting and fishing, he had a hobby for every season. Unwilling to stand still, after work he could be found in the shed behind his house tinkering on an engine. Every spring he planted a garden and his corn and green bearns were the best you ever tasted (with Rebecca's help, obviously). However, his greatest enjoyment in life was his family and enjoyed spending time with them as often as he could.
