Shoplifter Intercepted Before Making Off With Merchandise

   Loss Prevention officers at Walmart were able to recover stolen merchandise while intercepting a shoplifter leaving the store just before Christmas.

   Reports filed through the Lawrenceburg Police Department show that store personnel noticed the twenty year old Collinwood man pushing a shopping cart full of merchandise out of the front door without having paid for the items.

   Several toys, baby booties, shoes, and other gift items valued at $224.35 were recovered and returned to the store.
