Thursday Crime Report
Theft
A resident of Liberty Avenue filed a complaint with police officers Tuesday, indicating that someone had stolen a jacket she had ordered from Amazon. She said that the postal service showed that the package was left on her front porch on December 23. She told officers that she was not home at the time and someone had apparently stolen the package from her porch. Loss was said to be $56.99.
Criminal trespassing
A Palmer Street resident reported to police officers that a female neighbor had gained illegal entry to her garage. She said the woman was angry with her and climbed over a six foot wooden fence to enter her backyard. She then went into her garage and rummaged about. She told officers that nothing appeared to be missing. The victim indicated that she did wish to prosecute.
Theft
Officers responded to a Buffalo Road home where the resident reported that a blue car dolly, valued at $800, had been stolen. He said he last saw it the week before. He speculated that it was stolen while he had been at work.
Vandalism
Police officers responded to the city-owned Disc Golf Course at Scout Park located at Waterloo Street and West Gaines, on Christmas day where a complainant reported finding graffiti on the concrete tee pad on the tenth hole. Damages were said to total around $50.
