Man wanted for burglary in Florida is arrested locally

Lawrenceburg Now

A man wanted on burglary charges in the State of Florida was arrested by local police officers last week.

A Lawrenceburg Police officer on patrol last Saturday reports that he had made contact with a “suspicious” man walking in the Sixth Street/Second Avenue area at around 3:30 a.m.

When he questioned him about why he was walking along the street at that time of the morning, reports show that the man said he “had left his residence and was walking to meet someone at a store.”

The officer checked with Lawrence Central Dispatch, providing them with the man’s name and date of birth. They quickly determined that he had active warrants in Brevard County, Florida.

The man, identified as twenty-year old Levi Cole Robison of 530 Sixth Street, was wanted on charges of committing an “unoccupied residential burglary” and grand theft, with full extradition instructions.

Robison was arrested on the charges and transported to the Lawrence County Detention Center without incident. He was held without bond to await extradition.
