Maury County and Summertown Firefighters responded to a MVA with entrapment after a motorist was driving the wrong way Sunday night on the Highway 43 bypass.

 

According to the Maury County fire department their units were dispatched around 7:30 p.m. Sunday night to a MVA with entrapment on the Highway 43 bypass near Highway 20 were mutual aid was provided by Summertown Volunteer Fire department.

Responding units were Engines 2 & 5, Rescue 1, Squad 1, and Training Chief Craft where upon arrival crews discovered a 4 Car MVA with a subject entrapped.

Summertown VFD apparatus arrived where units worked together to remove the entrapped occupant, and at this time there has been no word regarding injuries reported with this accident that occured when a motorist was traveling the wrong way on 43.
