The Music Road Convention Center was the site once again for this event. This year, The Animal Kingdom, Inc. processed over $250,000 in virtual sales of pets and pet-related products.
The LHS Business Plan Team, consisting of Kayley Allen, Lauren Coggin, Courtney King, Emma Sanders, and Faith Smith competed on Sunday, November 23rd in the Tennessee State Business Plan Competition and presented their written business plan to a panel of judges.
The LHS team was among seven teams who had qualified to compete at the state level by winning regional competitions. At the opening ceremony of Monday’s trade show, the winners from this competition were announced.
The LHS Business Plan Team won 2nd Place in the competition, much to the delight of the members who had prepared for weeks for the event!
Each year the trade fair gets larger and the events become more competitive. The venue was filled with 100 virtual companies marketing their products and practicing their professional selling techniques. Students in attendance represent the future business leaders of tomorrow.
