FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - DEPUTY VEHICLE STRUCK WHILE ON SCENE

This morning, emergency units responded to a single vehicle vs tree accident in the area of Dr. Robertson road.

While assisting with this incident, a Maury County Sheriff’s Deputy vehicle was struck by third SUV. Both vehicles were pushed off the roadway and the SUV was rolled onto its side in the collision.

Units arrived on scene to find the driver of the SUV entrapped in the vehicle.
County Fire Units worked quickly to extricate the entrapped patient. The SUV driver was transported by Williamson EMS. During the extrication, the deputy was also taken to the emergency room.

All three patients, including the Maury County Sheriff Deputy are recovering at this time. We are praying for a quick recovery for all involved
