Thrusday Crime Report
Vandalism
Two persons at The Rink on Highway 43 south reported that a driver had pulled into the parking lot and spun tires, throwing rocks and breaking windows on two vehicles. Each vehicle sustained around $200 worth of damage.
Burglary
Burglars caused $200 worth of damage while breaking into a West Point Road home by prying open the bathroom window. Missing were two necklaces valued at $100.
Burglary
Some $2,100 worth of jewelry items were reported missing as the result of the burglary of a Red Hill Road home Tuesday. The resident said someone had entered her house and stole the items. No damages were found to the home. The victim said it had been left unsecured.
Theft
The manager of Krystal’s Restaurant on North Locust Avenue in Lawrenceburg reported to officers that an aluminum two-wheel cart used to transport grease had been stolen from the parking lot. Loss was approximately $550.
Burglary
A theft from a clubhouse on Goodhope Road resulted in a loss of $850 when thieves forced open a rear door and stole two buckets of pool chemicals and a pipe snake.
Vehicle burglary
A resident of Debus Street reported to officers that someone had stolen two coats and some rings from her 2013 Kia that was parked under her carport. One coat was located at a nearby intersection. The victim said she had heard noises around the carport at around 2:00 a.m. Loss was around $250.
Burglary
A Captain Drive resident told officers that someone had broken into his locked 206 Kia Sorento that had been parked on his carport. Missing were a .45 caliber handgun valued at $725.
