Shoplifting
Officials with Walmart on North Locust Avenue in Lawrenceburg reported to police officers Wednesday that an unknown man was caught on video stealing a display Apple watch valued at $38.
Aggravated burglary
The resident of a Mahr Avenue apartment filed a complaint with police officers Monday, indicating that someone had illegally entered his home and stole $125 cash and his Timex watch. Total loss was around $155. The victim told officers that he was a long-term resident and that he was the only person who had a key.
Theft
Police officers responded to Deals on Wheels, 2144 North Locust Avenue Monday afternoon after employees discovered that someone had made off with a dealer license plate, valued at $61.
Theft
The theft of a cell phone was reported by a guest at an East Gaines Street motel Wednesday. The twenty-six year old victim told officers that her ex-boyfriend had entered her room and took her cell phone without her permission. Loss was estimated at $30.
Fraud
Officials with Taco Bell, located at 1135 North Locust Avenue in Lawrenceburg filed a police report on Wednesday after their bank notified them that a counterfeit $20 bill had been found in their deposit.
Theft
A resident of a Debus Street apartment discovered Wednesday that someone had taken the propane tank from his grill, which had been located on his patio at the rear of the home. The tank was valued at $50. The victim told officers that the theft had taken place sometime during the previous night.
