Several vehicles on Toben Terrace burglarized

Detectives with the Lawrenceburg Police Department are investigating a number of vehicle burglaries that occurred along Toben Terrace during the holiday weekend.

One of the residents reported that he came out just before 5:30 a.m. to go to work and found that a window had been busted out of his 2002 Chevrolet. A trailer hitch had reportedly been used to break the window. Some $300 in cash was stolen, and damages incurred totaled $500.

A second resident spoke with police officers at around 4:30 a.m. He said that a neighbor had witnessed a theft from his Ford truck. The neighbor reported that two subjects had taken something from the truck bed, then ran away. The victim said that the item stolen was a model 3500 Yeti cooler valued at $300.

Officers indicate that several other vehicles in the vicinity were rummaged through, but that nothing appeared to be have been stolen from them.
