Theft
A resident of Kirk Street notified police officers Saturday that a Sentry lock box had been stolen from beneath his bed. He said that the box contained various types of paperwork and he was uncertain when it had been taken. It had an estimated value of $50.
Vandalism
On Saturday, police officers responded to an apartment complex on Oak Street where a thirty-two year old resident reported a vandalism incident. She said that while riding a bicycle, a small child had scratched the bumper of her 6006 Chevrolet HHR. She told officers that she believed the vandalism was deliberate, in retaliation for an assault complaint that had previously been filed with the department against another tenant. She estimated her damages to be $200.
Theft
A local man reported to officers Sunday that while his truck was in the parking lot at O’Reilly Auto Parts, someone had stolen his leaf vacuum which had been left unsecured in the bed of the truck. He described it as a red, Toro brand, five horsepower, self-propelled leaf vacuum. Loss was estimated to be $250.
