Lawrenceburg Now
Theft
A 14 x 7 foot black, flatbed utility trailer was reported stolen from a shed at a Self Road home. The owner said it was stolen while he was at work. Value was estimated at $1,700.
Animal traffic
A resident of Rabbit Trail road reported to deputies that a neighbor’s horse had gotten into her chicken feed barrels. Deputies noted that the containers were dented and feed bags were busted around the containers with feed scattered on the ground. Loss and damage was estimated at just over $100.
Theft
Deputies responded to a home on Beartown Road in Loretto where the resident indicated someone had entered his home while he was out of town. Fifty-nine checks were missing along with a number of Xanax pills. A witness reported seeing two women at the home. No forced entry was found. Loss was around $40.
Burglary
The owner of a property on West Point Road reported to deputies that she had arrived to find the front door open and a window screen cut. The only thing that appeared to be missing was an antique door valued at $100.
Theft
A North Main Street, St. Joseph resident told deputies that two of his children’s bicycles had been stolen and one returned by some neighborhood children. The bicycle that remained missing had an estimated value of $100.
Theft
Deputies were informed that a property on Oakwood Avenue in Summertown had been burglarized. The caretaker said that the owner was working out of state. He arrived to find tire tracks coming from the rear of the home. A four-wheeler, water pump, and generator were missing. The items had a combined value of approximately $1,800.
Burglary
Burglars entered a home on Evans Road in Five Points and pried open a safe. Missing were Xananx and Hydrocodone pills, a gold ring, and around 20 silver coins. Loss and damages were estimated at nearly $2,000.
Theft
Deputies went to a home on Horseshoe Bend Road where the residents reported a blue kayak had been stolen from the driveway while they were at church. The kayak and a fishing pole that was taken with it had a combined value of around $240.
Burglary
Burglars targeted an outbuilding at a Turnpike, Summertown home. The owner reported that the lock was missing along with several items inside: aluminum poles, Iglo coolers, bull float, wrecking bars, and spud bars. The items, collectively, were said to be worth $210.
Theft
A complainant reported to deputies that a home located on Williams Hill Road in Leoma had been burglarized. She said that drywall, plumbing, and the rood had been damaged and the central heat and air unit stolen. Deputies found no sign of forced entry. Loss was around $1,650.
Theft
Some $2,500 worth of jewelry was reported stolen from a Dave Hill Road home. The victim reported that she had allowed a relative and her friends to stay at the home overnight Sunday and felt that they might be responsible.
