Theft
A resident of Taylor Circle in Ethridge reported a necklace, valued at $800 had gone missing from her Taylor Circle home recently. She said she noticed it was missing after having new carpet installed.
Theft
Deputies spoke with a Summertown man who reported that an ex-girlfriend had stolen his debit card and taken $1,300 out of his bank account.
Theft
A black 380 semi-automatic pistol with purple grips was reported missing from a South Bradley Road home last week. The owner said he had not checked on the gun for a couple of months, but that he had purchased it for $418.41. There were no signs of forced entry to the home.
Stolen vehicle abandoned
A vehicle that had been reported stolen from a Randall Street home in Lawrenceburg was found abandoned in a large mud hole near Chestnut Lane. Deputies report that the Pontiac Grand Am was found by a resident of the area and his daughter while they were riding a four wheeler.
Theft
Police officers spoke with a West Point Road resident who indicated that her city-owned garbage cart had been stolen after she left it at the curb for garbage pickup. The cart has an estimated value of $50.
Vandalism
An Old Florence Road resident reported to officers that his front window had suddenly broken when he had turned an acquaintance away at his front door after she asked him for pills. Damages were said to be around $100.
Theft
A motorcycle cover valued at $120 was reported missing from a Jacobs Drive home on Monday. The owner said it had been lying on a walkway.
Theft
A Marlin .22 semi-automatic rifle with a wooden stock and stainless steel barrel was reported missing form a Clearview Avenue home Wednesday. The owner said he believed it had been taken while he was out of town for work.
Vehicle burglary
Officers spoke with a twenty-two year old man Tuesday who reported that someone had stolen his wallet out of his unlocked 2014 Dodge Dart while it was parked on Fisher Alley. Loss was estimated to be $17.
Shoplifting
Walmart personnel reported to police officer Wednesday that a woman had taken a set of cookware valued at $79.88 from the store without paying for it. They were able to provide video and still shots of the woman who reportedly committed the crime.
