LHS Performed In Their Last Competition Of The Season, Colt Classic Marching Invitational

Congratulations to the Loretto High School Band!  On Saturday, October 24, 2015, they performed in their last competition of the season at the Colt Classic Marching Invitational hosted by Glencliff High School in Nashville, Tennessee. The Band, Color Guard and Percussion all received Superior Ratings. 

The band finished 2nd place in Class. The percussion finished 2nd place in Class and the Color Guard finished 1st place in Class.  This made the second year the Loretto High School Color Guard finished undefeated.  For two consecutive years the Color Guard has won Best in Class at every competition they have attended. 

 In the overall standing the Loretto High School Band placed 4th out of 21 bands in attendance at the contest behind Page High School, Casade High School and Cookeville High School Bands.

The band is directed by Darrell Boston, assisted by Veronica Troup and guard instructors Kalee Richardson and Maggie Arnold.  Band Director Darrell Boston stated, “Words just can’t express how proud I am of all these band members and their hard work.  I am so proud to be their band director.  I would also like to say a huge thank you to the parents and grandparents for their hard work and continued support.  We could not do all we do without the help and support of so many.”
