Theft
On Saturday, officers responded a Geri Street home where the resident reported someone had cut the lock off of her red three-wheel bicycle and stolen it. She said it had been secured to the patio. She estimated its worth at $325.
Vehicle burglary
A 2011 Ford truck was reportedly burglarized outside of a Herb Drive home on Friday. The owner reported that a yellow Bostitch nail gun, valued at $300, was stolen. He told officers that his wallet had been stolen, as well, but that a neighbor had found it in the yard and returned it to him.
Vehicle theft
Officers responded to a home on Carey Circle Friday where the owner of a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe reported that it had been stolen overnight while he slept. A neighbor reported seeing a vehicle like his being driven away from the home at around 2:00 a.m. The victim’s wife was unable to find her keys and said she might have left them inside the vehicle. Loss was approximately $1,500.
Vehicle burglaries
Two vehicles were reportedly burglarized outside of a Fourth Street home last week. The victims reported that someone had broken into a 2003 Nissan Murano and a 2010 Nissan Altima. A phone and wallet were reportedly stolen resulting in a $500 loss.
Theft
A fifty-six year old Lawrenceburg man filed a complaint with police officers after discovering that someone had stolen his medication. He told officers that an acquaintance had been with him when he picked the prescription up from the pharmacy. He said after he left, he discovered his medication was missing. Loss totaled $180.
Theft
Police officers met with a resident of Florence Road who reported that an acquaintance had stolen two wheels, a comforter set and three pictures from her home and refused to return them. She said the items had a combined value of $800. Officers contacted the acquaintance but indicate that she denied having stolen the items.
Vandalism
Deputies spoke with a Waterloo Road resident who reported that someone had knocked his mailbox off of the post and broke a saw horse, which he had recently fixed. He estimated damages at $50.
Burglary
Burglars reportedly stole ten antique John Deere pedal cars from a house on Tripp Road that was being used for storage. Also missing was two Billy Cook horse saddles. Altogether, loss was estimated to total more than $4,000.
Burglary
A Mt. Lebanon Road resident filed a complaint with deputies, indicating that someone had stolen all of the firearms out of his home. Seven rifles were reportedly taken from a gun safe in the basement. Also missing was a .22 caliber pistol from his nightstand. Loss in the case was said to total $3,300.
Theft
Deputies were asked to investigate the theft of a 2016 Polaris Sportsman 570cc from a Childers Lane home. Owners reported that it had an added rear rack, hand guards, and a throttle extender. Altogether loss was estimated to total $7,200.
Theft
A Highway 20, Summertown resident reported a loss of around $400 when an antique, collectible pedal car was stolen from a yard sale. The complainant reported that a man driving a light blue, four-door Chevrolet S-10 truck pulling a 10 foot black trailer had stopped at the yard sale. She said the man picked up the dark blue Ford Cobra II pedal car and left without paying for it.
Vandalism
A Lanning Road resident filed a complaint with deputies, indicating that someone had damaged her mailbox, causing around $75 worth of damage.
Burglary
The owner of a Dunn Leoma Road property reported a loss of more than $3,000 due to thefts from the construction site. A shed door had been forced open, damaging the door frame. Missing were a Stihl chainsaw, Porter Cable finishing nail gun, Dewalt screw gun, and several Craftsman deep well sockets.
Vehicle theft
A resident of Waterloo Road reported to deputies last week that someone had stolen his 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer from his home. He said the vehicle, valued at $5,000, had been stolen during the previous night.
Burglary
A television and some money were reportedly stolen out of a Marshall Lane, Ethridge home last week during the commission of a burglary. The victim reported a loss of around $250. No sign of forced entry was found.
Theft
Deputies answered a call to Tanya’s Market on Highway 20 in Summertown Thursday where the owner reported the theft of gasoline. She said a man had asked her to turn on the gas pump so he could fill his tank. A customer notified her that the man had driven away without paying for the gas. Loss totaled $39.46.
