A Lawrence County man was arrested at a Waynesboro Piggly Wiggly after reports of the suspect allegedly using brass knuckles during an assualt.

According to media reports the Waynesboro Police Department was dispatched on Sunday to the local Piggly Wiggly in reference to a fight in the parking lot.

Upon arrival officers discovered that one male suspect identified as Isaac Lane of Lawrence County was being accused of assaulting another individual with brass knuckles.

Lane was arrested on charges of aggravated assault where he was booked into the Wayne County Jail on a $50,000 bond, and the other individual required medical treatment as a result of the incident.
