Having been one of the top two bands from Class 2A, they earned the right to perform in the finals competition. In the finals competition the band place 9th overall out of 13 bands, behind great bands such as Siegel High School, John Overton High School, and McGavock High School Bands.
The band is directed by Darrell Boston, assisted by Veronica Troup and guard instructors Kalee Richardson and Maggie Arnold. Band Director Darrell Boston stated, “Words just can’t express how proud I am of all these band members and their hard work. I am so proud to be their band director.
I would also like to say a huge thank you to the parents and grandparents for their hard work and continued support. We could not do all we do without the help and support of so many.”
