Security video captures golf cart theft

Lawrenceburg Now

A group of people was caught on security video last week, making off with a golf cart from an industrial park building.

The owner of ISS Enterprises, located at 100 Hannon Drive in Lawrenceburg, reported the theft. He told officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department that he had been alerted to the theft by some of his employees.

The employees had inquired about a golf cart that was used at the facility, saying that they had been unable to locate it.

The owner said that he had reviewed security footage and found that four male subjects wearing hoodies had walked in through the Old Military gate at around 2:30 that morning. He said they got into the golf cart and drove away. Loss resulting from the crime was estimated to be $2,000.

The case currently remains under investigation through the police department’s Criminal Investigation Division. Anyone with information about the crime should contact the department at 931-762-2276.
